The Osaka armchair was designed by Emiel Veranneman for the Belgian pavilion at the 1970 Wold Exhibition in Osaka, Japan. These armchair is a combination of traditional Flemish woodwork with Asian influences. By this wide appearance and round back this armchair gets a very strong character and expression. The wooden frame emphasizes this sturdy expression. The dark stained wood makes a wonderful combination with the dark brown leatherette upholstery.
